Rare and beautiful Alocasia chaii is a medium sized alocasia with thick gorgeous green leaves and fuzzy purple petioles. It loves high humidity and growing in pon or fluval stratum (semi-hydro). Corm shown in pics are just examples of the corms I have, not the exact you will receive.
I have the mother plant growing in Lechuza pon in a self watering pot in 80% humidity in my grow tent and it’s very happy. I have owned the mommy for 6 years!
SHIPPING DETAILS:
- All Alocasia and Anthurium will be shipped UPS 2 day because that is the safest and most reliable way to ship plants (other than overnighting which is obviously the best, but most expensive). USPS Priority results in more delays and damaged plants than you would want to know about!
- LOCAL PICKUP: Local pickup in Oak Park, IL available. First purchase the item from me so it doesn't sell out, then message me to arrange pickup at my home office. I will refund you for shipping when you pick it up!
-US SHIPPING DAYS: I ship Monday and Tuesday from right outside Chicago (and Wed on occasion only if UPS 2 day or USPS Express).

Heat Pack/ Insulation?
-All of my plants are packaged with extreme care, and during the colder months insulation and a heat pack are available for purchase as a separate listing. I always recommend UPS 2-day shipping above USPS Priority. Trust me, it’s worth the upgrade.
What if plant arrives damaged?
- All the Plant Babies cannot be responsible for the weather or any damage done to the package in the hands of the mail carrier. Your plant will ship with insurance. If you plant does arrive damaged you MUST send an unpacking video / photos within 12 hours of receipt if you would like our assistance in filing a claim with the mail carrier or discussing a replacement plant.
To qualify for a replacement plant, you must have:
- Received your plant on the first delivery attempt and
- Entered in the correct shipping address when placing your order initially
