This is for the yellow (aurea) version. I am unable to determine if the variegation will continue on future leaves or if the corms will produce variegated babies - every variegated plant is different!

About Alocasia ‘ Green Unicorn’ (azlanii x ‘Dragon Scale’):
Alocasia ‘Green Unicorn’ (PP35,554) stands out from other plants with its iridescent, moody, dark green leaves and colorful dark red undersides that pop against glowing, light green petioles. It is a vigorous compact Alocasia that has the look of a rare gem. It will thrive in lower humidity levels and be more drought tolerant than other Alocasia due to its hybrid vigor.
This Alocasia was created in 2021 by me, hybridizer Lindsay Sisti of @alltheplantbabies. It is cross between Alocasia azlanii and Alocasia baginda ‘Dragon Scale.’ The name ‘Green Unicorn’ was inspired from the term “unicorn” which is used throughout the houseplant collecting hobby to describe a beautiful, highly-sought after, uncommon plant. This plant is true to its name!
At full maturity, Alocasia ‘Green Unicorn’ reaches roughly 12 inches high and 20-22 inches wide. It enjoys bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. This hardy plant can tolerate low humidity. Water the plant thoroughly when almost dry.
SHIPPING OPTIONS:
- All plants from my website ship UPS 2 day because this method is both fast and economical and plants arrive without cold or heat damage and avoid postal delays the majority of the time (unlike USPS).
- LOCAL PICKUP: Local pickup in Oak Park, IL available. First purchase the item from me so it doesn't sell out, then message me to arrange pickup at my home office. I will refund you for shipping when you pick it up!
-US SHIPPING DAYS: I ship Monday and Tuesday from right outside Chicago (and Wed on occasion only if UPS 2 day or USPS Express).

-All of my plants are packaged with extreme care, and during the colder months insulation and a heat pack are available for purchase as a separate listing.
What if plant arrives damaged?
- All the Plant Babies cannot be responsible for the weather or any damage done to the package in the hands of the mail carrier. Your plant will ship with insurance. If you plant does arrive damaged you MUST send an unpacking video / photos within 12 hours of receipt if you would like our assistance in filing a claim with the mail carrier or discussing a replacement plant.
To qualify for a replacement plant, you must have:
- Received your plant on the first delivery attempt and
- Entered in the correct shipping address when placing your order initially
